Comfortable in heavy armour, Jaleela was not only a shock trooper, but also a skilled field medic, able to use her Force powers to get into the thick of the fighting and administer first aid to the fallen.

She received the highest marks in her marksmanship classes, and swiftly won a cabinet full of medals for her kill ratio on the battlefield. Placed within an elite squadron to operate behind enemy lines, Jaleela excelled at battlefield prowess, comfortable carving through the enemy at close range with her blaster shotgun, or picking off select enemies at a distance with her sniper rifle. She was absolutely committed to serving the Alliance, and held up as an example for all those who followed her. Jaleela was among the oldest, and among the first cadets to graduate. Not all cadets graduated fully, and there were occasional… issues… But for the most part, Project Emergent produced exactly the kind of elite, fanatical warrior they were looking for. The Alliance became their family, their life, their cause. Oaths of brotherhood, sacred traditions and the ideals of the Alliance were practised, instilling great purpose and belief in the cadets. They were raised in a closed environment where they were encouraged to think of themselves as special, and to have loyalty to their cause. Rejecting the weapons and beliefs of the Jedi betrayers, the Emergents developed their own focus and disciplines. The young Emergents were trained as operatives, whether as pilots, saboteurs, commanders or shock troops, and their budding Force powers were developed in tandem with their military prowess. These young men and women were given the best training and equipment, formed into individual orders of Templars, Adepts and Bastions to best utilise their skills in battle. Realising these youths had no ties to the old order, the Force-Sensitives were immediately enrolled into Project Emergent, and trained as operatives for the Alliance. Thus, the Alliance for the New Republic was formed, and the Galactic Civil War began.īetrayed by the Jedi, the Alliance found themselves blessed with the presence of their students and younglings. But there were those who refused him mostly non-human races who feared Tarkin’s blatant racism, but also those humans who opposed the new Emperor’s brutal methods. He then consolidated his power, mustering the greatest military force the galaxy had ever seen. Tarkin promptly declared himself Emperor, demonising both the treacherous would-be dictator Palpatine and the fleeing Jedi. The Jedi left, with promises to return when they had dealt with their enigmatic threat. Nobody knows who hewed his head from its shoulders, but that trophy was delivered to his former friend, and a devil’s bargain was struck. He died on his knees, begging for mercy while trying to hold in his spilled guts – a pitiful end for the would-be ruler of the galaxy. Tarkin had planned the betrayal all along the Order was swiftly rescinded, and the so-called ‘Darth Sidious’ had to face swarms of angry Jedi alone. Order 66 was issued – and Palpatine found himself swiftly betrayed by his only real ally. However, when the Exodus occurred, those students too young to become Padawans were left behind with the newly-formed Alliance. Before she could become too enmeshed in primitive culture, the young child was taken from her people and began the early training of a Jedi. Jaleela was located among a primitive people, jungle-dwelling tribals who possessed a complex shamanistic religion with a strong tradition of producing Force-sensitives. In the last days of the Old Republic, the Jedi planned for their Exodus, but continued to search the galaxy for promising students.
Born and raised as an elite warrior of the rebel forces, Jaleela is calm, focused, completely zealous and utterly devoted to the ideals of the Alliance. When the Alliance began the Emergent Project, they envisaged the ideal graduate would look something like Jaleela – a forged weapon aimed at the Empire, fanatically loyal to the Alliance of the New Republic. “When you can't run, you crawl, and when you can't crawl - when you can't do that.
